Producing art is magical. My paintings are the result of my personal story. I draw from a deeper, earlier time that reflects my European beginnings and combine these images with a strong energetic force. Color is an essential tool in my work. It enables me to generate and redirect my energy on the canvas. My images are more emotional than realistic. Thus, my paintings verge on the abstract. Oil is my primary love, but I work in all painting mediums. I also work in oil monotype. Working from one to the other is freeing and also helps clarify my ideas.
